Genesis Teachings

Learning Objectives:
1. Know what is learnt about God, humans and Creation
2. Explain what these teachings mean
3. Use Bible references to evidence this knowledge

Resources Include:
- Fully editable PowerPoint lesson
- Memorise It - a group game requiring pupils to memorise the Catholic teachings about Genesis on an A3 poster and recreate it at their tables. Teachings included are about the nature of God, humanity and our responsibility to the planet.
- Sort It - pupils match up the teachings of the Catholic Church about Genesis, with a relevant quote and explanation. This is designed as a group task and is A3 in size. There is an individual A4 copy of the answers included for pupils to stick in their books.
