Advent Carols

Learning Objectives:
1. Offer an interpretation of a carol
2. Compare it to another carol, discussing what the makers intended to communicate
3. Assess how effectively each conveys Catholic beliefs about Advent

Resources Include: 
- Carol Lyrics - A5 lyrics for O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and Lo! He Comes with Clouds Descending.
- Annotate It - 12 Bible quotes, Catechism references and explanations for pupils to use in annotating the lyrics and show how each carol conveys Catholic teaching about Advent.
