This Encounter pack for EYFS supports children to encounter a faith or worldview they already meet in their daily lives. The focus is not on teaching beliefs in depth but on listening to a real person, understanding what is important to them and beginning to learn what it means to be a good neighbour.
For this reason, the success of the unit depends on identifying and inviting a suitable visitor from the school or wider community.
