Feeding the 5000 EYFS

Learning Objectives:
1. We are called to help the poor and hungry.
2. Jesus and the feeding of the five thousand.

Resources Include: 
- Fully editable lesson PowerPoint
- Feeding the 5000 Story Script - John 6:1-14
- Fish - Images of fish to cut out and use in Whole Class Session 2.
- Sharing Game - Teacher instructions for the game with prompts for discussion reflecting on Jesus’ love.

Opportunities in Provision
- Sharing Activity - Images of baskets, loaves and fish to print and cut out for the pupils to share out.
- Stick Puppets - Images of people and props related to the story to cut out and use as stick puppets when retelling the story.
- Food Bank Signs - A selection of signs and posters that can be used to support pupils in creating a food bank within school
