Designed to make assessment meaningful, manageable and consistent, with clear progression in both knowledge and disciplinary skills.

• Two Assessment Options – Choose the approach that best suits your class: a creative assessment or an extended writing assessment. Both assess the same key knowledge and skills, giving teachers flexibility without compromising consistency.
• The Big Question – One overarching question runs consistently from Year 1 to Year 9, making progression visible as pupils revisit and deepen their understanding of the same core disciplinary skills at increasing levels of challenge.
• Built-in Differentiation – Support every pupil to demonstrate what they know with a range of carefully designed scaffolds. The creative assessment includes an oracy option with a Tiered Prompting Ladder, while the extended writing assessment includes a structured writing sheet and sentence starters.
• Ready-to-Teach PowerPoints – A dedicated PowerPoint for each assessment, introducing the task clearly and guiding pupils through what they need to do.
• Skills & Feedback – Possible pupil responses are provided for selected answers, alongside ready-made improvement tasks for teachers to choose from. This makes feedback more targeted and gives pupils a clear next step for improving their work.
• Feedback Stickers – Pre-populated stickers linked to the assessment skills, ready for teachers to tick, highlight and stick directly into pupils' books. A quick and consistent way to record assessment and communicate next steps.
  
• Progress Log – A pupil-facing record that allows children to track their progress in key RE skills across the year, helping them see how their understanding and responses are developing over time.
