Learning Objectives:

1. Explore the significance of the Magnificat as a prayer that extols God's raising the lowly and humbling the mighty
2. Consider the context of oppressed people seeking liberation and salvation

• Lesson PowerPoint 
• Dominos - A set of 5 Dominos for each student. Students are to match the quote from the Magnificat with an explanation and link to social justice.  
• Case Studies - Each group is to be given a different case study. In groups they are to discuss the questions at the bottom of the sheet and be prepared to feedback their answers.
