Learning Objectives:
1. To know what St Luke's Gospel tells us about Jesus. (Note - this lesson is designed to take two lessons to give pupils enough time to recap the characters they've met throughout the unit, and complete their booklets showing what these characters and St Luke's Gospel teach us about Jesus).
Resources Include:
- Fully editable lesson PowerPoint
- ‘Who am I?’ Clues - A set of cards with short descriptions of the characters the children have learned about over the topic. Children receive a card and must find the matching colours and then use the 3 clues together to guess who their character is.
- St Luke Booklet Templates - An A4 booklet template which folds to make an 8-page booklet where children record what they know about each character and what each character teaches us about Jesus.
- Resource Sheet - Images and character names to cut and stick into the booklet.
Religious Education Directory Links:
U1.3.2 - Retell, in any form, one of the stories they have heard, recognising these are religious accounts from the Gospel of Luke.
