Learning Objectives:
1. Describe stewardship by making links between Genesis and Laudato Si’ 88, and know ways in which we can be stewards of the earth as part of our care for each other.
2. Know that people’s actions can link to the ‘ecological virtues’ from Laudato Si’ 88.
Resources Include:
- Fully editable lesson PowerPoint
- Stewardship Worksheets - Explain what stewardship is and then add actions which are good or not good for stewardship
- Laudato Si’ 66 and 88 - These are original excerpts of Laudato Si’ for reference. They can be used instead of the paraphrased versions if the teacher prefers.
- Superhero Mask’ - This is to reinforce the lesson. Pupils can add their own design, showing how they can be stewardship superheroes.
