The Jesse Tree

Learning Objectives:
1. Know what the Jesse tree is
2. Describe how the Jesse tree reflects on the importance of the prophetic texts
3. Reflect on various artistic interpretations of the Jesse tree

Resources Include:
- Jesse Tree - A3 sheet of a Jesse Tree with space to write the characters and Bible references of all 25 parts. Differentiated version included.
- My Family Tree - A sheet for pupils to complete their own family tree.
- Record It - A group task for pupils to research one section of the Jesse Tree, summarise it and design a symbol.
